What do I need to do before my tattoo appointment?

1. Be well rested.
2. Don't consume drugs or alcohol.
3. Eat within a couple hours of getting tattooed.
4. Wear comfortable clothing that you're not extremely worried about getting ink on, things happen.
5. Make sure that you have your photo ID card (if you're a minor you need your birth certificate as well, and a parent with a photo ID.)
6. Ibuprofen about a half-hour before (if there is no possibility of drug interaction and it is authorized by your doctor)
7. Discuss any concerns you have,if any, with the tattoo artist prior to starting, whether it be design or safety related issues.
8. Relax, everything will be just fine.
